On our way to our first horse show of the season, 2.5 hours from home, hauling 2 horses, we have a major trailer breakdown. Luckily, we were still able to move slow and get off the interstate to the parking lot of a gas station. After about an hour, we had a plan but knew we had a lot of time to kill. My daughter and I walked over to this Western Store to check it out. We encountered the nicest people!! They offered us water for the horses, said we could get them off the trailer and walk them on their property by the store and even said if we had to stay longer than expected that they had a round pen and would take the horses to their house. Like us, they were truly concerned about the wellbeing of our horses. Great people!!
